Frederick Neuhouser
Frederick Neuhouser PhD '88 is a Barnard philosophy and German professor who specializes in German philosophy and continental philosophy more generally.
His undergraduate lectures are attended by a healthy contingent of graduate students. Interpret that as you will.
He often refers to his childhood farm life as examples of Marxist alienation and exploitation by the bourgeoisie class.
Neuhouser served as the Barnard American Association of University Professors (AAUP) president during its formation. He was interviewed by Bwog and is a lovely man.
