Girls Who Code
Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit organization working to close the gender gap in the technology and engineering sectors. Its programs work to inspire, educate, and equip girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities.
Columbia Chapter
Our mission is twofold: (1) To provide computer science education to high school girls in the greater New York City area, according to the national Girls Who Code curriculum. (2) To serve as an engagement platform for Columbia students to partake in mentorship, instruction, and programming, which will benefit both the Columbia community and the high schoolers.
