Lena Dunham is a filmmaker and actress, and created the HBO series GIRLS.
In spring of 2013 she received a Barnard Medal of Distinction[1]. Said Gabriella Schlussel, BC ’13: “I think everyone is really excited about Lena Dunham"[2]. At Barnard College's Class Day, upon the conferral of the award, Dunham was introduced as "quite Barnard-like."
