Mary Wollstonecraft
Mary Wollstonecraft was an early feminist whose work A Vindication of the Rights of Women is currently part of the Contemporary Civilization syllabus. It is generally considered, by feminists and male chauvanists alike, one of the worst and least worthy works to have been included in the class.
