Regarding your edit on Psi Upsilon, the point that Psi U is the oldest fraternity at Columbia is true. Psi Upsilon's Lambda Chapter was founded on June 25, 1842, which makes it the oldest fraternity here. Although Alpha Delta Phi was actually founded at Columbia earlier, they are not a fraternity, but rather a literary society. The Columbia chapter of ADP broke off years ago from the national fraternity of ADP, went co-ed, and changed themselves into a literary society, making Psi U the oldest frat at CU. I realize it's easy to confuse the two, but this is the truth.
