View source for Touchdown Cannon

The '''Touchdown Cannon''' at [[Baker Field]] was given to the football team by the [[Student Board]] in 1961 during Columbia's only Ivy League championship season. The cannon was installed in time for Columbia's season finale at home against Penn, a victory which sealed a share of the league title that year. The cannon was given a good workout that day as the Lions made oatmeal of the Quakers, 37-6. 

The current whereabouts of the cannon are unknown.
