Milton Friedman PhD '46 was a Nobel-winning economist. He taught on Columbia's faculty from 1964 to 1965, and was a member of Columbia's Statistical Research Group in 1943-1944.
Recently, a song was written in his honor, titled "The Corporation" and performed by the Milton Friedman Choir[1].
