I've noticed that you've been citing Wikipedia guidelines. Please note that WikiCU isn't meant to be that formal. Removing a dead link is all well and good, but something amusing like a paperweight is pretty harmless and probably not worth your time. Sha Na Na

You seem to know a lot about Sha Na Na. Would you like to create an article about them? That way we would just link to it rather than explaining who they were on every page they're mentioned. Okay, I tried. BTW, I think a closer relationship between WikiCU and CCT-- which just skipped a print edition and put it online-- is a definite possibility and I can talk to the editor, if you folks at WikiCu are interested? But only if you say so, I'm just a newbie here. Seems like a win-win situation to me. CCT contains a treasure trove of material which WikiCU would interlink and organize into a more coherent form than CCT can. If CCT, with its epic mailing list, did an article alerting the alumni to how much fun WikiCu is, it would encourage alumni to contribute their memories (about the notorious Lion's Den in John Jay Hall, for instance. For thirty years the Law School ran a mixer there every Friday night.) That kind of alumni participation, which leads to contributions to the endowment, is what CCT is all about. I can't speak for all the contributors here on an official relationship with the magazine, but I think no one would be averse to CCT writing a piece encouraging more to contribute memories or information. (I will say, though, that I don't really agree with its decision to go fully online - I wonder what older alumni with less familiarity with the internet are supposed to do, or alumni who were hoping to use the magazine to connect with them). Pacman, I have to agree with you, but I imagine it was a financial decision. Okay, I'll see what I can do over there. Maybe it could start with an article about WikiCu, bringing it to the attention of the alums. I certainly have enjoyed fooling around with it. Just put something up about John Jay. Take a look. Right, though I feel they could have made cuts elsewhere (all that glossy paper is pretty unnecessarily expensive. Phi Beta Kappa magazine uses a cheaper stock that still shows color very nicely).
