The Wrestling Team at Columbia is the oldest intercollegiate wrestling program in the nation. In typical Columbia fashion, the school was oblivious to this fact until the 1990s when a wrestling historian informed the coach.

History

On March 31, 1903, Columbia and Yale took part in the first intercollegiate meet as an opening act for a basketball game. With the exception of 1904, Columbia has fielded a wrestling team every year since.

Alumni
